How It Works

A Clear Process From Clarity to Measurable Results

Diagnose & Build the Plan (~2 weeks)

Implement & Measure (90 days)

  1. 1

    Financial Reset

Review your books and make reasonable corrections to establish a reliable baseline. If significant catch-up or cleanup is needed, we’ll scope that separately before moving forward.

  2. 2

    Find the Bottleneck

Complete an Owner Bottleneck Assessment to identify what’s actually keeping you at capacity (whether it’s people, processes, pricing, job mix, field capacity, administration, or something else).

  3. 3

    Model & Choose

Run 2–3 realistic scenarios, including a downside stress test, and determine the best path forward for your business.

  4. 4

    Build the Capacity Plan

Turn the analysis into a concrete 90-day plan with clear action steps, financial guardrails, and what we’re measuring.

  5. 5

    Implement & Review

You implement the plan while we keep your books current, monitor the financial results, and review progress at 30, 60, and 90 days.

The Owner Bottleneck Guarantee

If the Plan Doesn’t Move the Needle, I Keep Working With You.

Follow the Capacity Plan we build together. If your agreed Owner Dependency Metric hasn’t measurably improved after 90 days, I’ll continue the advisory portion of the program for up to 60 additional days at no charge.

  • We define the metric and baseline upfront.
  • You follow the agreed Capacity Plan.
  • If there’s no measurable improvement after 90 days, I’ll continue advising for up to 60 additional days at no charge.

Common Questions

Is my business too small—or too big—for this?

This is built for established contractors with consistent work who have hit a capacity ceiling. The initial conversation helps us determine whether the engagement fits your business and the decisions you’re facing.

What happens during the 90 days?

You put the Capacity Plan into action. We keep your books current, monitor the financial results, and review progress together at 30, 60, and 90 days.

Does the 90 days include the initial analysis?

The initial diagnosis and planning phase takes approximately two weeks. The 90-day implementation and measurement phase follows that work.

What happens if the plan doesn’t work?

We agree on an Owner Dependency Metric and baseline upfront. If you follow the agreed Capacity Plan and that metric hasn’t measurably improved after 90 days, I’ll continue the advisory portion for up to 60 additional days at no charge.

What if my books aren’t caught up?

The financial baseline review includes reasonable corrections. If significant historical catch-up or cleanup is needed, we’ll identify and scope that work separately before moving forward.

Is hiring always the answer?

No. We assess the actual bottleneck and model realistic options. Those may involve people, processes, pricing, job mix, equipment, or outsourcing, depending on what your business needs and can safely support.

Is bookkeeping included?

Yes. Ongoing bookkeeping throughout the 90-day engagement is included at no additional charge. Significant historical catch-up or cleanup is scoped separately.

Are you going to run my operations for me?

You implement the plan and run your business. I help with the financial analysis, capacity planning, ongoing bookkeeping, and progress reviews so you can make informed decisions.
